Armenian grandmaster Sergei Movsesian scored 5.5 points to share 1-3 places at tournament B of Tata Steel Chess Festival, ongoing in Dutch town of Wijk aan Zee.
Movsesian tied a game vs Sergei Tiviakov (Netherlands) in round 8. He will face off against Russia’s Maxim Turov in the next round, due Jan 22.
Grigor-Sevak Mkhitarian (Brazil) comes 4th in tournament C.
