Khaled Mashaal was reelected political chief of Hamas by the group's Shura council, The Jerusalem Post reported citing Palestinian news agency Ma'an and BBC in Arabic.
However, according to Israel Radio other Arabic news outlets, the Hamas council was only meeting on Monday, April 1 and a political chief had not yet been chosen.
