After a possible collaboration was teased on Twitter over the weekend, it has been revealed that Courtney Love and Lana Del Rey are heading on tour together next year, Gigwise reveals.
Love has made no secret of her desire to work with Del Rey in the past, telling news outlets: "I have a distinctive voice and it might sound cool if it's the right song."
Over the weekend , Love revealed via Twitter that she was heading to London to meet with Lana Del Rey, alongside the hashtag "#excitingnews2come."
Pitchfork have now reported that they're set to embark on a US tour in May, which kicks off in Texas on 5 May and finishes in Florida on 16 June. Given that they met in London though, and are apparently going to "own that town", there will surely be some UK dates to follow.
Earlier, this year, Love's daughter Frances Bean Cobain criticised Del Rey for name-checking her father in an interview with The Guardian, and going on to say, "I wish I was dead already."
