The Radiohead guitarist scored the forthcoming film, which was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (of Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood and The Master) and stars Joaquin Phoenix, according to Gigwise.
It includes an unreleased Radiohead song, 'Spooks', which has been reworked by Supergrass, with help from Greenwood and Joanna Newsom, who narrates the film.
The soundtrack also includes songs by Can, The Marketts, Minnie Riperton, Neil Young and Les Baxter.
Inherent Vice is based on the 2009 Thomas Pynchon novel and follows an LA detective investigating the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend.
