Karabakh conflict will not be resolved in the near future, said Eduard Sharmazanov, spokesman for ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
At that he emphasized that NKR will never be a part of Azerbaijan. “The status of Nagorno Karabakh is a priority for us. And the people of NKR will themselves decide their fate,” he said.
When commenting on Turkey’s statements on so-called “occupied territories of Azerbaijan”, Sharmazanov said, “Before labeling Armenia as “occupant”, Turkey should keep in mind that it’s occupying 37% of Cyprus.»
