40 Armenian peacekeepers will depart for Germany in January 2010 for a training before deployment in Afghanistan.
“The number of servicemen has been already determined. The mission will last 5 or 6 months,” said colonel Arthur Simonyan, commander of the RA peacekeeping brigade.
Armenian peacekeepers will depart for Afghanistan after the RA National Assembly takes a relevant decision.
