Armenia condemns the June 18 incident at the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces but will not suspend talks for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, RA National Security Council Secretary said.
“However, Armenia finds it inadmissible that one side holds talks while the other foments clashes. We have numerously stated that’s our army stands ready to rebuff any attack,” Arthur Baghdasaryan told reporters on June 25.
As to possibility of resumption of hostilities, he said Armenia is ready to any developments in Karabakh process.
“Armenia’s efforts are aimed at determination of the status of Nagorno Karabakh (either as independent republic or as a part of Armenia), security guarantees and land communication,” Baghdasaryan concluded.
