Arbitral award of the U.S. President Woodrow Wilson has not lost its legal force. In accordance with international law, arbitral awards do not need mandatory ratification, being final and definitive, a statement passed by Yerevan State University stressed.
“The border between Armenia and Turkey should be determined in accordance with Wilson’s arbitral award, rather than Turkish-Soviet deal. Armenian propaganda should cause arbitral award passage day to be celebrated in Armenian communities worldwide. We urge the National Assembly to proclaim November 22 as the day of restoration of homeland’s rights,” the statement emphasized.
