Eduard Sharmazanov disbelieves ANC statements on possibility of extraordinary elections

Armenian President gives specific importance to the presence of constructive opposition in the country, according to secretary of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov.

“Political differences between the opposition and coalition do not necessarily suggest enmity between the two sides. Civilized struggle is what’s important here,” Sharmazanov stressed at news conference in Yerevan.

Dwelling on the possibility of extraordinary elections, repeatedly mentioned by the Armenian National Congress, he expressed doubts over ANC attaching any meaning to their own statements. “Were we to believe in opposition’s statements, we’d have already witnessed 6 presidential and 11 parliamentary elections,” RPA secretary remarked.
