On September 23, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with the head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Sergey Kapinos, completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
Cooperation perspectives between the OSCE Office in Yerevan and Defense Ministry were discussed. The parities stressed the importance of joint programs on raising human rights awareness in the army.
The Minister thanked the Ambassador for expert assistance of the OSCE Office in Yerevan to implementation of a number of military and educational programs.
In conclusion, Mr. Kapinos was awarded with a Military Cooperation Medal for contribution to effective cooperation between the OSCE and Defense Ministry, ministerial press service reported.
