Acer announced a new, compact pico projector designed as a travel companion, Tom’s Hardware reported.
The projector weighs 6.34 ounces and has a foot print the size of an average smartphone (4.7×3.2×1.0 inches). The C120 is powered via USB 3.0 and offers both a 16:9 aspect ratio at WVGA resolution (854×480) or at the maximum resolution WXGA (1280×800) in a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The Acer C120 has a wide projection throw range – it can project clearly from as close as 15.75 inches and as far as 12.14 feet away.
The projector delivers a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a luminous flux of 75 ANSI lumens, according to Acer. The LED lightsource is estimated to last about 20,000 hours.
The C120 is available now for a suggested retail price of $259.
