“Hotel Transylvania” animated comedy trailer unraveled

With Adam Sandler voicing Dracula, Selena Gomez as his daughter Mavis, Kevin James as Frankenstein and Cee-Lo Green as the voice of Murray the Mummy, Sony Pictures Animation‘s Hotel Transylvania comedy hopes to be the back to school favorite this fall when its set for release September 21, Deadline reported.

Genndy Tartakovsky, best known for TV animated series like Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack and Star Wars: Clone Wars, makes his feature directing debut. The trailer for the native of the former USSR has already been released in Russia.

In the animated film, Dracula, owner of Hotel Transylvania, a five-star resort for the world's monsters, invites some of the most famous monsters to celebrate his daughter Mavis' 118th birthday. Unexpectedly visited by Jonathan, an ordinary young traveler, Dracula must protect Mavis from falling in love with him before it's too late.
