Poll names RPA, Prosperous Armenia as election favorites

Gallup International Association and Armenia television company presented the outcomes of the poll conducted in Yerevan and in all of the provinces of Armenia on April 13-23, with 1080 respondents participating (mistake ±3).

As the head of the Armenian representation of Gallup International Aram Navasardyan said, the poll named the ruling Republican Party of Armenia and its coalition partner Prosperous Armenia as vivid favorites of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Asked “who would you vote for if the elections were due this Sunday, 27,4 % of respondents answered they would vote for RPA, 20,9% – Prosperous Armenia, 8,5% – for Armenian National Congress (ANC), 4,4%-Heritage, 4,2% – Orinats Yerkir, 3,7% – ARF Dashnaktsutyun, 0.7% – for Communist Party of Armenia and 0,1%- Democratic Party of Armenia. None of the poll-participants voiced willingness to vote for the United Armenians party, and 3,9% of them said they would vote against all.

76% of respondents expressed readiness to participate in the voting, 14% said they probably would, 5% said they hadn’t decided yet, and 6% voiced confidence for non-participation.
