Uruguay's Foreign Minister said that he was greatly impressed by a visit to Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
“Armenian Genocide is a crime not only against Armenians, but against the humanity. Genocides are still committed in the modern world, as, unfortunately, no lessons have been reaped from the past,” Luis Almagro said, stressing memory, truth and justice as his message to the world in Genocide issue.
As a part of his visit to Armenia, Uruguay's top diplomat is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Catholicos of all Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II.
