Armenia’s economic activity index in May 2012 totaled 8%, growing by 14,1% as compared to April 2012, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
In May 2012, consumer prices grew by 0,5%, with 1,3% deflation recorded on monthly basis. Meanwhile, in January-May 2012 inflation rate increased by 2,5% as compared with the same period in 2011.
The national budget envisages 4,2% economic activity growth, and 4±1,5% inflation for 2012.
