Government’s new program aims to support the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including the start-ups, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member, head of National Assembly’s’ Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan said.
As he told a press conference, consultations, special grant funds and even lax credits are envisaged for the start-ups.
“Assistance to SMEs will ensure economic growth due to their flexibility,” Mr. Minasyan said.
In this context, he stressed the social factor of assisting the SMEs, “as any democratic country is characterized by the developed businesses.”
