On August 10, Leonid Yengibarov International Pantomime Festival will kick off in Armenia’s resort town of Tsaghkadzor, artistic director of State Pantomime Theatre said.
As Zhirayr Dadasyan told a press conference, the event will bring together actors and theater groups from Denmark, Poland, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Armenia.
Japan’s representative Makoto Inoue will present a performance based on Shakespeare’s Richard III play, further featuring Aram Khachaturian’s Masquerade.
The festival will run until July 15.
