Prosperous Armenia members have turned the whereabouts of the party leader Gagik Tsarukyan into a “state secret”, Hraparak daily said.
Every effort was taken to keep his leave in secret while the fate of a potential Prosperous Armenia presidential candidate Vartan Oskanian was being discussed.
Sources close to Oskanian say Tsarukyan has never left the country, but rather is sitting it out in his own home.
“The party leader was given a week to decide on the format of his participation in presidential race and announce his decision to President Serzh Sargsyan. Tsarukyan is facing the change of a “dad” so he traveled to Ukraine to give it a good thought,” the paper said.
