Paper: Sargsyan, Kocharian deem Armen Gevorgyan best PM candidate

During their last meeting Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his predecessor Robert Kocharian took a final decision on the next Prime Minister’s post, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily reported.

After a long contemplation both pointed to Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan as the most acceptable candidate for all political teams, the paper says.

Meanwhile, the current Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has started taking rumors about his possible dismissal for granted, noting that no post lasts forever. He may re-assume a position in the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) instead, the daily says.
