Armenia’s 2013 draft budget envisages AMD 1 trillion 31 billion revenues, growing by 13% against the last year’s index, Chairman of Armenian NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Gagik Minasyan said.
“Budget expenditures are expected to be set at 1 trillion 151 billion, with 10% increase to be reported as compared with the last year,” he said, forecasting 2,6% deficit rate in 2013.
The MP further said that starting Oct 30 parliamentary committees will hold joint meetings on 2013 draft budget. Following the discussions, the government will present the revised draft to be approved either at National Assembly’s last four-day session, or at a special gathering.
