Gyumri’s newly-elected mayor Samvel Balasanyan has started major job cuts at the municipality, Hraparak daily reported.
Community officials have also been affected, being forced to submit a resignation letter. The shifts have already targeted eight department heads, with both Prosperous Armenia and Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) members among them.
