Paper: Prosperous Armenia leader agrees to Deputy PM’s post

According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, talks between President Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan have been finalized, with Prosperous Armenia party leader agreeing to assume the post of Deputy Prime Minister.

Also, according to sources close to authorities, Prosperous Armenia will be given 3 ministerial seats, 3 posts of the heads of regional administration, and all the agencies for implementation of ministry programs.

Tsarukyan won’t be running for president, with the party to support Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy at the elections. A document describing the agreements above will be signed in early December, with Tsarukyan to be appointed Deputy Prime Minister following presidential polls, the paper said.
