Political analyst Manvel Sargsyan believes that bringing Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrossian to power has been the only goal of the opposition bloc members for the past 5 years.
As 168 Zham daily said quoting Sargsyan, “ANC members will stop at nothing to achieve their goal, ready to resort to deception and completely neglect the interests of the state or people.”
“We’re witnessing their methods mutate: once their rallies prove ineffective, they’ll agree to talks with President Sargsyan. If local talks fail they might consider negotiations with Turkish PM Erdogan. The majority of people have realized that and became indifferent to ANC’s struggle, however, not understanding how to stop that process,” Sargsyan said, according to the daily.
