Morality vs. immorality contrasting must become the key problem of the opposition and the ruling authorities, Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc member said.
Sos Gimishyan stressed the need for the opposition to be guided by higher morality principles than the authorities.
“I’m sorry to say that very dangerous tendencies are currently observed in our country. Ignorance has become a common occurrence,” he told a news conference, commenting on the latest political developments in Armenia and the opposition’s uncertain stance.
Dwelling on some of the ANC members’ statements expressing the bloc’s readiness to cooperate even with the devil, Mr. Gimishyan said, “I back the viewpoint claiming the end doesn't justify the means. The ruling authorities are preferable to the devil.”
