Head of Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission on economic issues, Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan met with the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, Idris Barzani.
The two men discussed establishment and development of trade and economic relations, cooperation prospects, export of Armenian goods to Iraqi market, with special importance attached to energy and transport sectors.
The parties called attention to organization of bilateral visits, promotion of business ties and establishment of necessary legal and regulatory framework.
Involvement of Iraqi Kurdistan’s government representatives in the activities of Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission was further discussed, press service of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration reported.
