Latvian Foreign Minister concerned over Safarov case

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs said his country is concerned over pardon and glorification of Azerbaijani axe-killer Ramil Safarov.

“Safarov case was discussed at a Vilnius meeting, with representatives from Scandinavian and Baltic countries participating,” Minister Rinkēvičs said during a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

He further noted that Latvia closely cooperates with other European states when it comes to foreign policy coordination.
