According to 168 Zham daily, the attempts of Heritage parliamentary group to recall the deputy chair of standing parliamentary committee on foreign relations Alexander Arzumanyan have so far been failing.
“Although the head and the secretary of Heritage faction have agreed to replace Arzumanyan, the latter announced he had no intention to resign,” the daily said.
“Armenia's law on parliamentary regulations does not stipulate for any other procedures for replacement of the deputy chair of a standing committee. Also, Arzumanyan is threatening to inform international structures in case the parliament resorts to any unlawful decisions,” the paper said.
