INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF VIOLINISTS AFTER ARAM KHACHATURIAN COMPLETED

Satenik Khurdoian and Martin Yavrian shared the first place at the international contest of violinists after Aram Khachaturian. Gevorg Karabekian and Syuzi Yeritsian took the second place. Marianna Asriyeva and Aya Muraki shared the third place. To note, 3 encouragement nominations and diplomas were established. Teona Mikeladze and Margarita Tovmasian were recognized the best concertmasters, Anush Nikoghosian was marked as the youngest participant, Satenik Khurdoian was announced the best masterly performer, Marianna Asreyeva was praised for the best performance of modern work and Aya Miraki was acknowledged as the best performer of Khachaturian’s work. Martin Yavrian received the award of the audience’s sympathy. Upon completion of the contest the jury and the participants visited A. Khachaturian’s House Museum, where the presentation of the film about the life of the great composer took place. The film was shot by Aram Khachaturian’s 100-th birthday by order of the Armenian Ministry of Culture.
