The leader of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc’s parliamentary group Levon Zurabyan slammed publication of his conversation with ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian.
“The regime’s use of such avowedly mean methods of political espionage runs counter to Constitution, as well as law-stipulated democratic norms,” the politician said, urging for prosecution of those responsible.
“The fact of spying proves that the authorities are wary of possible challenges during the upcoming presidential race,” Zurabyan said, noting debates around the material published to be unacceptable.
