Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Dec 25 with mass media representatives to congratulate them on the coming New Year and Christmas and wish them sound health, success and creativity.
“Last year we continued efforts aimed at reinforcement of freedom of speech and democracy in the country. I am grateful to you for ensuring objective coverage of 2012 parliamentary elections and the rest of the political developments. That’s a big accomplishment which paves the path for further progress. Certainly, a lot of problems are still in need of solution, however, we must consider public demand and the ruling authorities’ political will as the two acceptable factors,” President Sargsayn said.
