According to Hraparak daily, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan has not met any of the party members following his refusal to run for president.
Despite this, some of party representatives have resolved to back incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan at the upcoming polls. As for the party’s radical wing, it still believes in changes even following the polls.
A party representative even deemed Tsarukyan’s forsaking politics possible, with ex-president Robert Kocharian to assume party chairmanship, the paper says.
