The net profit of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC increased by 20.8% to total AMD 1,244 mln in 2012, with net interest income of AMD 390 million reported as the key source of growth.
The bank’s assets amounted to AMD 123,419 as of Jan 1, 2013, increasing by 28.7%. Corporate loan portfolio grew by 23.3% to total AMD 76,436, with credit portfolio of physical persons increasing by 21.1% to gross AMD 15,348 mln. The volume of funds by Areximbank-Gazprombank clients grew by 19.4% to gross AMD 39,105, with physical persons’ funds increasing by 54.8%.
The results of the bank’s activity in 2012 enabled to boost the capital profitability index.
