Nokia chief executive Stephen Elop has suggested that the Finnish firm may be close to entering the tablet market, most probably with a Windows-based device.
Whilst he stressed that Nokia is not close to announcing anything at this stage, Elop did tell journalists in Sydney that the firm was watching the growing tablet space "very closely", Digital Spy reported citing Financial Review.
He said that Nokia hopes to learn from the experiences of Microsoft, which launched its own line of Surface tablets running the Windows 8 operating system last year.
