Festivities dedicated to Yerevan’s 2787-th birthday will be organized in the Armenian capital city September 8-9, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Arman Sahakian noted. The events will start with a solemn sitting in the Opera and Ballet Theater. The holiday will end in a firework. To note, Erebuni-Yerevan holiday was for the first time was celebrated in 1968.
