Armenian presidential hopeful Vardan Sedrakyan must be kept accountable for his false testimony, candidate Raffi Hovannisian said.
“I accept smart criticism, but I condemn fraud and lies,” candidate Hovannisian told a press conference, commenting on Sedrakyan’s remarks suggesting a Masonic organization, with Raffi Hovannisian and his father among the members, were behind the assassination attempt on candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan.
“Neither I, nor my father have been members of a Masonic organization. Let Mr Sedrakyan testify against me if he can prove I am involved in the crime. I can answer lawmen’s questions,” candidate Hovannisian said.
“During our meeting back in 2002, Vardan Sedrakyan compared me with an epic character. Of course, I have nothing to do with it,” candidate Hovannisian said.
