Sardarapat movement member Zhirayr Sefilyan has noted “unification as the sole solution to the current situation in Armenia.”
He stressed the need to form other authorities on April 9 that will ratify the votes Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian received during Feb 18 presidential elections.
Mr Sefilyan further noted it senseless to run in Yerevan city council polls.
“We have urged Raffi Hovannisian and his team against running in the upcoming polls given the ruling authorities’ decision to score a crushing victory. Serzh Sargsyan has called on the forces that refused to run in the presidential elections to run in the city council polls, with an aim to steal Raffi Hovannisian’s votes,” Mr Sefilyan said.
