Czech resolution recognizing the “Khojalu genocide” is a mere step, taken by the commission on foreign affairs, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic said.
“Human rights violations occur during the war. However, they can’t be compared with what happened in your history,” Karel Schwarzenberg told a joint press conference with acting Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian.
Ms. Nalbandian, in turn, thanked the Czech politician for the position on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, noting peaceful resolution as the sole solution to the problem.
“Czech Republic, as well as other EU member-countries support OSCE Minsk Group efforts aimed at conflict resolution,” the acting minister said.
