The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, Hello Yerevan bloc and probably the Armenian National Congress (ANC) party will pass Yerevan city council election threshold, sociologist Aharon Adibekyan said.
“The RPA and Hello Yerevan will pass the threshold,” the sociologist told a press conference, voicing skepticism over the ANC to win back the voters’ trust.
“Both ARF Dashnaktsutyun and ANC perceive the upcoming polls as the first step of the future political struggle, unlike RPA and Orinats Yerkir,” Mr. Adibekyan said, forecasting 55-60% voter turnout.
He further noted that the unification of opposition parties would secure them 55% votes.
