Russia continues to be Armenia’s main trade partner and leading foreign investor in the county’s economy, with bilateral turnover totaling $1,2 billion in 2012, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
As Alexander Lukashevich told RIA Novosti ahead of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian’s visit to Moscow, “1,3 thousand Russian capital-based enterprises are currently operating in Armenia, with fuel and energy sector as priority in the countries’ economic cooperation.”
Edward Nalbandian will pay an official visit to Moscow on April 25.
