Passing Meghri Armenian region and the Lachin corridor, connecting Armenia with Nagorno Karabakh, to Azerbaijan is not on agenda. As reported by “Arka” agency, Armenian president Robert Kocharian stated at his pre-electoral meeting with Nor Nork Yerevan community. People “not having an idea of the negotiation process” exaggerate the issue to disseminate misinformation among the population of Armenia. By today the talks are “at a level that is advantageous to Armenia and the country is able to lay down its own terms within the conflict settlement process,” – the Armenian leader emphasized.
