Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan met with a delegation headed by leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group (ECR) in the European Parliament Martin Callanan.
Mr. Tsarukyan noted European integration as a priority for Prosperous Armenia, with the party aiming to attach more attention to the issue. He stressed the importance of the cooperation with ECR.
Mr. Callanan, in turn, voiced readiness to deepen the collaboration with Prosperous Armenia party.
Dwelling on the Association Agreement talks and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), Mr. Tsarukyan said the political and economic integration will contribute to the establishment of democratic values in the country and development of open and competitive relations.
The upcoming Yerevan city council elections and regional issues were further discussed, with an agreement reached to deepen Armenia- ECR cooperation, Prosperous Armenia’s press service reported.
