“Armenia. The Mysteries of Stones” exhibit opened in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on May 16, with CoE Secretary General, PACE President, the head of the European Court of Human Rights and representatives of high-ranking delegations present.
“Armenia is a country of mountains. For centuries the stone served a tool for Armenian people, helping them express their creativity. Throughout history it evolved into an integral part of the cultural heritage of the world. We are happy that stone exhibits will be showcased in the framework of Armenia’s chairmanship in the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers,” Minister Nalbandian said.
