Microsoft is planning to release a 256GB Surface Pro tablet, the computing giant has announced, according to Digital Spy.
The 256GB Surface Pro will launch in Japan on June 7, priced at 119,800 yen (£780).
The new model, which is yet to be confirmed for Europe or North America, will launch alongside a new range of exclusive Touch covers, reports TechRadar.
Microsoft is also planning to release the 128GB model throughout the region, although it currently has no plans to offer the 64GB version.
Microsoft's Surface Pro has been criticised for its paltry storage capacity, with 64GB models using up 28GB of internal storage on pre-installed apps.
The Surface Pro made its debut in the UK earlier this month.
It was delayed after a sales surge saw North American customers snap up 400,000 units since launch.
The company is currently offering a free Touch or Type cover to UK customers who purchase a tablet from the Microsoft website.
