Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic President Bako Sahakyan stressed the need for Armenian and NKR rescue services to conduct joint exercises.
“Part of the drills will be conducted in Artsakh in the near future. We view the rescue service as one of the guarantees of our security,” President Sahakyan said, underscoring the necessity of boosting NKR service capacities.
He further familiarized himself with RA emergences situations ministry’s technical tools.
For his part, Artsakh rescue service chief Artur Harutyunyan said that the similarity of tools will enable to handle the emergency situations in the republic.
RA Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, in turn, noted the construction of a crisis management center as NKR’s future achievement, with the works to complete in 3-4 months.
