Philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan has no wish to become a President of Armenia – “not in 15 or 20 years.”
“I’m good at what I’m doing – implementing educational and charity projects,” he said in an interview with Russian socialite Ksenia Sobchak.
Vardanyan said he doesn’t possess necessary qualities to be a politician. “I don’t need to be in politics to help Armenia as a Russian citizen,” he said.
According to Vardanyan, mononational Armenia is very different in its culture and mentality from what he’s accustomed to.
However, he noted, he has good relations with current Armenian leadership.
