Sony's Xperia Z Ultra has been assigned a European release date by two online retailers, Digital Spy said.
Phone seller Expansys is offering the 6.4-inch phablet SIM-free for £639.99 and claims that it will be shipping orders on September 6.
Clove is offering the super-sized handset at the cheaper price of £599.99, but will not be stocking it until the later date of September 13.
Powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip, the Xperia Z Ultra features a HD display with a 1080p resolution, backed up by Sony's Triluminos tech for richer colours and textures.
The smartphone is also fully waterproof and sports an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, a 2-megapixel snapper on the front, LTE support, 16GB of internal storage and a battery providing up to 11 hours of talk time and 120 hours of music playback.
Sony's Xperia Z Ultra, which runs Android 4.2 out of the box, is compatible with any pencil or stylus and comes with handwriting recognition software pre-installed.
UK operator Three has confirmed support for the Xperia Ultra but is yet to announce availability, while Britain's other major service providers have not divulged any plans yet.
