Captured soldiers’ family to wait for news near ICRC office

Family members of Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan have gathered in front of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Yerevan calling for the organization representatives’ meeting with the captive in Baku.

ICRC delegate Dragana Rankovic met with the captive’s father Gevorg Injighulyan and brother Arman Injighulyan, who later told a PanARMENIAN.Net that “they learned nothing new” but decided to wait for the news at the ICRC premises.

“This is neither a protest nor strike. This is just our decision,” he said.

On the night of Aug 8, Injighulyan, born in 1991, failed to find his bearings on the ground and crossed into the Azeri-controlled territory. No meeting with the ICRC representatives has been organized so far.
