“Game of Thrones” actress Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s “Mockingjay,” the third installment of “The Hunger Games” franchise, Variety said.
Dormer will play Cressida, a defector from the abusive overlords in the Capitol, and joins a cast that will include returning stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
Francis Lawrence will direct the adaptation to Suzanne Collins novel, which is being broken into two parts with the first bowing Nov. 21, 2014.
Dormer can still be seen on “Game of Thrones,” which is currently filming its fourth season.
