ARMENIA FEELS MORE CONFIDENT AT KARABAKH TALKS, ARMENIAN LEADER SAID

Today Armenia feels more confident at talks on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict than a few years ago. Armenian president Robert Kocharian said in Cologne addressing the meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of Germany. In his words, it is conditioned by the fact that official Yerevan managed to present its stand to the mediator countries and the entire world community. As noted by Robert Kocharian, the Karabakh conflict settlement process will slow down in 2003 due to the coming presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan. Nevertheless, the negotiations will be continued, the president emphasized.
