Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden made it official on Saturday, March 15 night that they would embark on a joint tour. The bands have hinted on the co-headlining jaunt last week when they posted a tour teaser on their Instagram, AceShowbiz said.
The 23-date trek kicks off July 19 in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood and wraps up in Los Angeles on August 25 at the Hollywood Bowl. The dates are mostly in the U.S. but they will make a stop in Toronto. Supporting in all but two dates is Death Grips.
Soundgarden and NIN celebrated the 20th anniversary of their albums "Superunknown" and "The Downward Spiral" respectively on March 8. The Chris Cornell-fronted group will release a 5-CD deluxe edition of "Superunknown" on June 3.
Tickets for the joint tour go on sale March 21.
